EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Rianna Rios
Rianna Rios is an Army Veteran and Professional Boxer with a record of 9-0 and 1 knock out. She currently is the World Boxing Association (WBA) International Champion in the Bantamweight division. Rianna has an extensive amateur career as a 12x National Champion, former Team USA World Team Member, and 2016 and 2020 Olympic Trials Qualifier. She currently Coaches the Amateur Boxers at the Pure Technik Boxing Club all while pursuing a World Championship Title and an Exercise Science Degree.

OPERATIONS SECRETARY
Karla Rios
Karla Rios serves as an US Army Active Duty Sergeant First Class. Throughout her 14 years of service, she has served in Afghanistan, throughout the United States and Europe in numerous positions comprised of Human Resources and Equal Opportunity Advisor. She now spends her off time volunteering, using the knowledge and skills she’s learned through serving to mentor and assist the youth boxers at the Pure Technik Boxing Club all while pursuing a Psychology and Social Work degree at the University of Texas San Antonio.

BOARD PRESIDENT
Jeffery Mays
Jeff Mays is the current head coach and owner of the PureTechnik Boxing gym in which he began in January of 2023. Mays is a 21yr United States Army Combat Veteran and has now spent his retirement helping youth boxers go on to become great individuals beyond the ring. Coach Mays was a 2020 U.S. Olympic Boxing coach and currently has had multiple national champions come out of his gym. Not only is Mays an exceptional amateur coach, but he is also a current professional cutman and has been on many TV fights as a cutman on multiple teams.

Jacob Davis
Jacob Davis proudly serves as the Vice President of the PURE TECHNIK BOXING YOUTH ASSISTANCE PROGRAM and has been a dedicated advocate for youth mentorship for many years. With a career in Juvenile Probation Jacob saw how the sport positively influenced youth that lacked direction and positive influence, he remains committed to guiding young people toward success. A devoted father and husband, Jacob is passionate about family and actively supports his children’s sports aspirations. His love for boxing began at a young age and was reignited when two of his children started boxing in 2021. As a local San Antonio business owner, he is a lifelong contributor to the city’s business growth, striving to uplift both the community and the next generation.

Alyssa Rodriguez
Alyssa Rodriguez is the Board Chair for PTB Youth Program, dedicated to empowering young individuals through mentorship and community engagement. Over the past ten years in San Antonio, she has opened doors for meaningful community work while running two small businesses. Her company, B&B Creative Co., specializes in social media, video marketing, and bringing creative visions to life. Alyssa is deeply passionate about creating safe and inclusive spaces for all. The boxing community has played a pivotal role in her journey, shaping both her personal growth and her commitment to PTB’s mission.

Claire Esparza
Claire Esparza proudly serves as the treasurer for the PTB Youth Program. She is a professional lifestyle photographer based in San Antonio, Texas, with a passion for capturing authentic moments that tell compelling stories. Beyond her photography career, Claire holds positions on various other executive boards, reflecting her commitment to community service. Her dedication to giving back and mental health are central to her personal and professional endeavors. Claire’s involvement in the boxing community is personal as her son is an amateur boxer who has benefited greatly from the sport, deepening her appreciation for boxing and its impact on youth development. In her spare time, Claire enjoys spending time with family and volunteering at community events, continually seeking ways to contribute positively to her community.

BOARD SECRETARY
Amanda Sendejo
Amanda Sendejo is a current professional boxer with the ultimate goal of empowering individuals and especially women to pursue their dreams with hard work, perseverance and faith in mind. Amanda was a previous amateur boxer with 2 National Championship wins, under the coaching of Jeff Mays and Rianna Rios. Amanda is also a proud UTSA Alumni with a Bachelor's Degree in Sports Marketing. With previous work experience with the San Antonio Spurs and San Antonio FC, Amanda chose to put her degree to the side to pursue her career and passion as a professional boxer and excelling to be an exceptional influence to her community and the younger generation to dream big.

Shaylay Peterson
Shalay Peterson is a dedicated community leader and passionate advocate for youth development. As a trustee for P.T.B Youth Program, Shalay brings valuable expertise and experience to support the organization's mission.
With a strong background in business and community engagement, Shalay has consistently demonstrated a commitment to empowering young people and promoting positive social change.
Through her work with P.T.B Youth Program, Shalay aims to help provide local youth with access to quality boxing training, mentorship, and educational support, fostering their physical, emotional, and social growth.
